Turbo-Everdrive communication with the computer

Post by Debvgger »

Has anyone seen this?

He is sending text from the computer to the PC Engine. How is that possible? I haven't seen any documentation on that, anywhere. Am I missing something?

Even more interesting, I'm wondering if the opposite could be true: Sending text from the PC Engine to the computer. That could prove really useful for debugging purposes :-)

Add a monitor routine on the brk irq and maybe we could even step on asm code from the computer ;-)

From what I remember the USB port on the everdrive acts like a RS232 port (just like the arduino). I think some address is mapped on the PCE side.
